I need prayer

I need prayer, I need you God. Out of the depth of my soul I cry out to you. Only you can save. Only you can rescue this heart.

Where I have sinned I ask for your pardon and thank you for your forgiveness.
Where there is hurt I ask for your healing
and receive your strength.
Where there are tears I give you my despair
and receive your eternal hope.

Right now I need you God. Thank you that you are with me always, that you are closer than my own skin, and that you love me more than I can ever comprehend.

Amen.

The times when we are most broken are often the times when we are most open to God. "For when I am weak, then I am strong" declares the Apostle Paul. Only when we see our weaknesses, when we understand our need of God's grace and love, only then do we fully comprehend our need of God's forgiveness, our need of His Spirit, and our need of God's strength to come and heal us on the inside.
