Prayer for physical healing
(this is a similar prayer - this time asking for a friend or loved one to be healed by God)


Almighty God,

You are the Creator King, the master builder, the architect of an intricate and astounding world. You breathe new life into each moment and hold everything in place with your mighty hand. Your disciples were courageous and spirit filled, they carried the Holy Spirit in their hearts and were given authority to bring physical healing. I ask now for your Holy Spirit to move in this physical body. Lord, come heal him/her with your restoring power. Be Lord of this body, come set it back in perfect balance.

You are our Saviour, our King, We trust in you and wait upon your holy name.

Amen.

Prayer for emotional healing

Dear God,

I feel so hurt, my heart is bruised and torn.
I feel abandoned, alone in a dreadful storm.
I feel shattered, my tears are full of grief.
I feel so beaten, I've lost the hope in life.

And so, I come before you, my heart resides in you.
I come before you, could you take these broken pieces and make me new.
I come to you Lord, and walk with you today.
I come to you Lord, would you hold me close and safe.
I come to you Lord, please open up my eyes.
I come to you Lord, lead my hope to arise.
I come to you Lord, who hears my every prayer.
I come to you Lord, you can heal the pain that's there.

O Lord, I feel so hurt, but I'll journey close to you.
O Lord, please come and mend my heart and hold me close to you.
